Raleigh, NC -- Raleigh police are investigating a school bus accident that happened Thursday afternoon in front of Dillard Drive elementary and middle schools.

Detectives say the bus was turning when a car hit it around 4 p.m.

A Wake County schools spokesperson says four students from Dillard Drive Middle School were taken to the hospital with bumps and bruises.

Further details about the accident have not been released.
