GRIFTON, N.C. - Charges are pending in a wreck that happened Friday night. Troopers say Leonard Johnson of New Bern failed to yield at a sign when he collided with Kimberly Robinson of Wilmington. Robinson was traveling in the northbound lane of Highway 11 with her 13 year old son and 8 year old daughter. Johnson was traveling with his wife, Joyce, when their Minivan hit Robinson’s Mitsubishi Galant. Robinson’s car caught fire. Johnson was treated and released from Pitt Memorial and his wife is listed in serious condition. Robinson and daughter are listed in serious condition at Pitt and her son is listed in critical.
