Car Accident in Brunswick County, NC

Brunswick County, NC -- A Supply man was killed and a teenager was hospitalized Tuesday after a two car-crash on N.C. 211 near Midway Road, according to the N.C. Highway Patrol.

Conrad Daniel Orth, 18, of Supply died at the scene, said Sgt. E.C. Harris of the highway patrol.

Harris said Orth was traveling on N.C. 211 near Midway Road when he crossed the left of the center line in an attempt to pass another vehicle and struck a vehicle head on about 5 p.m.

Orth was driving a 1996 Buick which collided with a 2004 Ford driven by Kendra Horne, 16, of Oak Island, Harris said.

Horne was airlifted to New Hanover Regional Medial Center in Wilmington. A nursing supervisor said Horne was in serious condition Wednesday afternoon.
